S.V.P.T’s Saraswati Vidyalaya High School was established in the year 1981 at Namdeowadi in Thane. The school presently owns its premises, which was inaugurated on 1st October, 1991 by the then Vice President of India, late Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma. The school is efficiently run by the Saraswati Vidya Prasarak Trust. In the year 1997, the Trustees started the Junior College of Science and are the pioneers in introducing bi-focal vocational course (Computer Science) in Thane. The School has been administered under the able guidance of our administrator Mrs. M. S. Korde and Principal Mrs. Anita Pinto. The year 2006 witnessed the Silver Jubilee of the School. Today the school has more than 3500 students on roll. It is well equipped with all modern infrastructure.
