Mr. Moses Gomes started the kindergarten with 12 children in his family home in 1979. The school today stands tall in Kurla west and is the result of the efforts put in day and night by this couple. The school caters to all caste and creed. The school is recognized and it is permanently unaided by the Mumbai Municipal Corporation under the letter Michael High School has won many awards and accolades for being the best school and having the best environment setup. Also, the principal Mrs. Jean Moses Gomes has won the ‘Best teacher Award in 2011’ from the President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee. The school is also been accredited as grade A+.
